With the royal name and fame it is a must have in every woman’s wardrobe recently. Now there are many variants of these anarkalis and they should be chosen wisely to get the perfect look. Since we are only discussing party look we would concentrate on that.
For the taller women:
Women who are tall always have an edge wearing anything and looking good. But chose your colours wisely according to your skin colour. Just because you are fair does not mean that you can pull off that red colour well with a red matching lip colour. It is much better to choose the pastels like golden and white, beige or turquoise anarkali for that Princess effect. Light pink and Fushia also works great. If you are choosing bright colours make sure your make up is not loud. For the Taller and heavier women, anarkali is actually the perfect party wear salwar kameez. It covers all your flabs well in its flare and you can go long length with them.
For the Petite women:
Anarkali is thing for you! The party wear salwar kameez has to be an anarkali as it lends a true festive feel. Make sure to keep the yolk smaller with the kalis running below your knees slightly above the ankle. If you are blessed with a good figure then choose the frock style with umbrella cut below the waist. If your waistline is broad its better to hide it in the flares choosing the above design. This pattern grants you length. From sleeveless to full sleeves choose the style that best suits you. Get one stitched from a boutique with your favourite material.
How to look best:
Expect the party wear salwar kameez with embellishments like stones and gota patti and brocades. These just enhance the festive quotient of the ensemble. Even though we have discussed anarkalis, it absolutely does not mean that you cannot wear the ethnic salwar kameez patterns. The Patiala suits are still very much in so adorn them in style with jhumkas. Chose fabric like silk or Georgette with embroidery or the traditional phulkari. Even for the anarkali, there are a variety of fabric to choose from. Starting from Georgette, sheer and shimmer or even cotton with brocade gives an amazing result. Wear danglers or “chandbalis” with matching bangles to complete the party look. The only thing left for you to do is enjoy the party!
